Doesn't YOUR Dog Deserve the Best?

"Words cannot express my gratitude to you and your wonderful staff for saving Cali's life!

When we moved to Dallas 3 years ago, I spent a good deal of time interviewing and visiting various daycare/boarding options before choosing Park Cities Obedience School.

When Cali first began attending 'doggie play group' and boarding occasionally, I knew PC Obedience School was an ideal setting for my large and energetic Standard Poodle.  Cali walks right into the building with her tail up, anxious to see who she can play with on any given day!

My husband and I travel quite a bit and I have never worried about the quality of care being provided either during the day or overnight.  However until last week it never dawned on me how important the careful instruction you provide to all the staff might be when faced with a life threatening malady.

In the early evening I received a call that Cali was not quite 'right'.  Raymond suspected bloat and asked permission to take her to the E Clinic on Fitzhugh.  The E Clinic was ready for Cali upon arrival with sonograms and x-rays.  Arriving 15 minutes after the initial call to me, Cali was whisked away, bloat was confirmed and she was in the OR immediately.

The surgeon and nurse both commented on how early PCOS had caught this dreadful condition.  Cali's stomach was still bright pink and healthy, consequently her recovery was successful.

Park Cities Obedience School called every day following the surgery to check on and inform me of Cali's' progress, as did the E Clinic.  We arrived home to Dallas a few short days later.

Thank you so much for providing such a loving, caring and professional environment for our dog.

It really is a home away from home and she loves each one of you."

"We enrolled our dog, Honey, in the board & train class (Dog Boot Camp).  The program is basic training where you board your dog for two weeks and the trainers work with them daily.

We recently adopted our dog from a shelter where she had been living for over 4 months.  Unfortunately, living in a shelter doesn't really teach a dog the skills they need to live in a household with their new family!   Our dog is a Pit Bull mix and she can be a stubborn handful!  Because of this we decided to invest the money in training to help make our lives and hers, a little easier.

Park Cities Obedience School was wonderful and delivered on their promises.  We have much more control over Honey's behavior and the household is much happier!

The follow up classes are a must as they help teach the owners  how to interact with their dogs.  Overall a wonderful experience and we definitely will be using them for boarding in the future.

Honey's reaction to everyone at the school (she LOVES to go to class), tells me they treated her well while she was with them.

Thank you SO MUCH PCOS!"

"Trevor and Raymond are terrific!  I had hip surgery several weeks ago and can't leave the house.  My dogs were going stir crazy with no exercise so many days a week, Raymond comes and gets them and they stay at daycare for the day!

I was worried because one of my dogs is 17 years old and not all that friendly around strangers but according to Trevor and Raymond he does great!  Thanks for giving me a place to send my dogs where they can have fun and I feel safe having them there!"

  "Deirdre & Phil -

I cannot thank you enough for giving me a safe, responsible place to take all of the dogs.  I just figured my husband and I would never be able to go anywhere again together not only after what happened last time at a different boarding facility I tried, and but because we couldn't afford it with the dogs.

The dogs were all great when they got home and looked adorable in their bandanas!  They smelled great and acted great. Georgi has acted a little depressed but I am not sure if she was mad I left her or mad I took her from there!  I will be by tomorrow and will fill out any online reviews you would like.  I am also forwarding pictures of Dori so you can see for yourselves why we even have these dogs.  When we rescued her the SPCA said they could not accept her because they would just put her down.  I didn't have the heart to do it.  Then, we found out she was pregnant.  These photos would be hard to look at if you didn't know the outcome. The date on the photos is incorrect - we found her in February of 2008 and she had her puppies in April of 2008.  Please show everyone else and tell them thank you for helping us.  I will be by tomorrow.  Thank you again - words cannot express how appreciative we are.  I will eventually like for all the puppies (3 yrs old) to go through obedience but will have to be back at work before I can afford anything like that.  Thanks again."

We took our three Shih-tzu girls in for a two-week board and train, with a follow up in-home visit plus weekly classes.  Couldn't be more pleased with Park Cities or with our follow-up counselor, Nancy.

No harsh methods, no gimmicks - just calm, firm encouragement.  These folks care about the dogs AND their owners!!
